Mustard Cultivation steps to improve the crop growth –

• Light to heavy soil is good for mustard and rapeseed cultivation.
• The soil must be properly prepared before starting the wheat farming.
• Sowing period – September to 10 November, Seeding rate 1 to 1.25 kg per Acre.
• To control weeds take two to three weeding and two hoeing at interval of two weeks when intensity of weeds is low.
• Crop takes 110 to 140 days to mature, depending variety.
